With heavy hearts and deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Demarcus Kenyon Bell, affectionately known as “Mark,” who departed this life on May 18, 2026, at the age of 34.
Demarcus was born on February 23, 1992, in McComb, Mississippi, and was raised in Woodville, Mississippi. He attended Wilkinson County School District and was well known for his goofy spirit, funny personality, and adventurous heart. Mark was truly the life of the party and could light up any room with his laughter and energy. He was family-oriented and deeply loved by those who knew him.
Demarcus had a passion for drawing and was fascinated with old-school vehicles, motorcycles, and big trucks. He enjoyed life and loved making memories with family and friends. His joyful presence and loving spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who loved him.
He worked for many years as a Correctional Officer, dedicating himself faithfully to his career. In 2013, Demarcus gave his life to Christ, was baptized, and attended Chapel Baptist Church.
Demarcus leaves to cherish his loving memories: his father, William Jarvis of Woodville, Mississippi; his three beloved children, Ma’Riyah Bell, Markaya Bell, and Demarcus Bell Jr. of Dallas, Texas; three siblings, Roderick Bell, Tierra Jarvis, and Ashanti Jarvis, all of Woodville, Mississippi; along with a host of other relatives and dear friends who loved him deeply.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Cherri Jarvis.
Though he may be gone from our sight, his love, laughter, and memories will live on forever in our hearts.
