Elizabeth M. Davis

Funeral services for Elizabeth M. Davis, 98, of Ferriday, LA who passed June 3, 2025 will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Rufus Baptist Church at 914 Mickey Gilley Avenue, Ferriday, LA with Rev. Michael Reed officiating.

Elizabeth Marie (Williams) Davis, was born September 30, 1926 to the late Robert and Katie Williams of Ferriday, Louisiana. She accepted Christ at an early age under the late Rev. Samuel Woods of the Rufus Baptist Church in Ferriday where she has remained a lifelong member. She completed her education at the Sevier Rosenwald High School. Elizabeth united in holy matrimony to the late Charles Davis, Sr. on December 28, 1944. To this union, ten children were born, five sons and five daughters. He preceded her in death on November 8, 1994. Mrs. Davis passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at her home in Ferriday, Louisiana.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Charles L. Davis, Jr.
