A Time to Be Born

Mr. Quenton L. Fountain was born on December 11, 1956, in Woodville, Mississippi to the late Willie and Rosa L. Herbert Fountain. He was educated in the Wilkinson County School System, graduation from Wilkinson County Training School in 1974. His professional journey was at Wilkinson County Sheriff Department and a successful 27 year career at Stupp's Corporation.

A Time for Family

Mr. Quenton was a man who loved his family. In his spare time, he enjoyed family events, tailgating and watching his sports while cheering for his favorite HBCU team, The Alcorn State University Braves.

A Time to Die

On Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 3:13 PM, the Lord embraced Mr. Quenton in his arm of love, and gently took him home to be with Him for all eternity.

A Time to Mourn

Mr. Quenton leaves to cherish his memories: two daughters: Devon D. Fountain of Zachary, LA and Diamond D. Fountain-Williams (Isaiah) of Ponchatoula, LA; one son, Quenton O. Fountain of Zachary, LA; two Granddaughters, Kaylyn Robinson of Zachary, LA and Harmonee Fountain of Ponchatoula, LA; one Grandson Jayden Fountain of Zachary, LA; one Sister Vida Faye Fountain of Woodville, MS; three brothers Berman Herbert (Pearl) of Baker, LA, Thomas M. Fountain, Sr., and Donald Ray Carter (Linda Gail) of Woodville, MS; one sister-in-law Martha Fountain; two Aunts, Classie Burkes of Woodville, MS and Luverda Fountain of Baton Rouge, LA; three God-sisters, Imogene Anthony of Baton Rouge, LA, Charlotte Sherman of Baton Rouge, LA and Ciji Fosselman of Woodville, MS; Special Friend Sharon Gamble of Baton Rouge, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie T. Fountain and Rosa L. Herbert Fountain; two brothers: Willie Lynn Fountain and Thurston Fountain; one sister Cherri Fountain.
