Reverend Roosevelt Palmer

Reverend Roosevelt Palmer, 77, of Woodville, Mississippi, entered eternal rest on November 12, 2025. He was born on August 26, 1948, in Woodville, Mississippi, to the late Patsy Palmer and Charlie Palmer.

Roosevelt faithfully served as Pastor of St. Mark Baptist Church, where he ministered with strength, compassion, and unwavering dedication to God. He loved singing and used his gift to uplift and encourage others throughout his life. Even after stepping down from preaching last year due to declining health, his devotion to God and his church family remained strong.

He was preceded in death by several siblings and leaves behind siblings who continue to cherish his memory.

Roosevelt is survived by his children: Derrick, Andrea, and Alesha; his bonus child, Jaydin (Mello); along with a loving host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

His life was a testament of faith, service, and love. His legacy will continue in the hearts of all who knew him.
