On December 20, 2025, Virginia Ann Collins, departed this earthly life. God sent an angel to open the gate to heaven and receive her into life after death. She was born on January 21, 1961, in Natchez, MS, the daughter of the late John and Shirley Temple Collins. Virginia accepted Christ as her Savior and was baptized at an early age.
Virginia leaves to cherish her life: two sisters, Rosa Tillery and Sherry Rowe of Woodville, MS; three brothers, John Collins, Jr. of Woodville, MS, Darren Collins of Baton Rouge, LA, and Calvin Collins (Edvel) of Magnolia, MS; four nieces, Tina Wallace (Dwight) of Chester, VA, Nicole Rowe of Brandon, MS, Kimberly Rowe of Woodville, MS, and Lauren Collins of Chicago, IL; four nephews, Kentress Nichols of Clinton, MS, Spencer Perkins of Zachary, LA, Devonte Collins of Crosby, MS; three great-nieces, five great-nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Shirley Temple Collins; paternal grandparents, Johnny Collins and Lamett Thomas; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Hagger Dyer, and one nephew, Darren Terrell Tillery.
